This show was very similar to the one I saw at Great American a year ago, except Mezzanine kinda sux. Got to stand pretty close though, the crowd was hipsdom but pretty mellow
With a lineup of Anthony, Morgan and kick ass drum guy, the set seemed a bit short, and at the same time it was long enough for these old legs :-(
James Yuil was the opener, pretty good actually

Morgan Kibby went thru some metamorphosis from her long curly hair/flannel shirt last time. She shed her glasses and got a cool haircut, wearing a pretty revealing almost see thru top. The makeup job though was the best, a sideways streak thing across the face over one eye. She wins. Her dancing at the end of the show was super awesome. Keep it hyphy girl
Another revelation was Sitting with the "let's go" sample, good fun (from the 2003 album M83)
Highlights
- the last instrumental he did for the intro, beastly
- We own the sky
- Graveyard girl
- Kim and Jessie
- Sitting
- Couleurs (so love this song)
