Adele - Chasing Pavements

Adele is a fantastic new artist out of London. I have to thank Nikki at Sony for sending me her first album 19, which is being released in the US today (stream it from Spinner, buy it from Amazon). It is the first album that is really blowing me away in 2008



"Chasing Pavements" is only one of the many great songs on her album, it really showcases her soulful side. Think of her as a more refined Amy Winehouse (you might like her also if you dig Kate Nash). I completely missed her when she performed at Bimbos on May 22, 2008 but I hope you do catch her on tour
